  • “For Christ’s love compels us…” – 2 Corinthians 5:14

Welcome to the 2025/26 Kingdom Builders Missions Magazine!

At FA Church, Kingdom Builders is about the expansion of the Gospel in Calgary and around the world, making an eternal and lasting impact both locally and globally.

This year’s theme, "Compelled by Love," comes from 2 Corinthians 5:14: "For Christ’s love compels us..." Jesus gave His all for us, and there is no greater love. Transformed by His love, we are compelled to share it with everyone we meet.

In response to God's love, we are focusing on three areas:

Love That Reaches - We are advancing the Gospel by supporting missionaries and global workers, empowering life-changing projects, and extending our reach from Jerusalem to Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth, as Jesus commanded. (Acts 1:8).

Love in Action - Meeting needs through benevolence programs like FA Cares and supporting families in crisis, as well as partnerships with local ministries.

Love That Builds - Investing in the future by expanding the local church in Calgary, ensuring the message of hope spreads beyond our walls.

Our "Judea and Samaria" is the Northwest Territories. Last year, we sent Pastor James, Karina, and their family to Yellowknife to help rebuild churches and bring hope to this spiritually needy region. Through Kingdom Builders, we're partnering with the Alberta and Northwest Territories District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada (ABNWT) to advance the Pentecostal Sub-Arctic Mission and share the Gospel with those who’ve never heard His name. This summer, ministry teams from our church will head to the NWT to launch youth camps and make a lasting Gospel impact.

Our Jerusalem is Calgary. As God brings more and more people to our church, we’re creating space to meet the growing need. Seton Campus continues to grow, all in preparation to one day move to our south property. We are trusting God that one day our South property will see a new church campus, a Christian school, and senior living spaces. It’s all about providing opportunities for future generations to encounter Jesus.

I invite you to read more about Vision 100 on our Kingdom Builders Magazine on page 30.

As you read this year’s magazine, I pray you’ll feel the excitement of what God is doing through us as a church. Let’s continue saying yes to being partners and workers with Christ in the Great Commission. Compelled by love, we are making an eternal impact. We each play our part through prayer, giving, or going—moving forward in faith and making an eternal difference together.

  • In 2029, First Assembly Church will celebrate 100 years of God's faithfulness! As part of Kingdom Builders, V100 is about more than a milestone - it's a movement toward the future. We believe God is calling us to expand the local church, raise up future leaders, and reach more people with the Gospel than ever before.

Expanding the Church, Expanding the Mission
For over a century, our church has been a place where lives are changed by the life transforming presence of Jesus. Now, we're stepping forward in faith to build on that legacy. Through Vision100 we are creating space for future generations to encounter Jesus.

We've been preparing FA's 49.5-acre site in SE Calgary for a future South campus, Christian school, and senior living. This process has involved extensive planning, studies, and consultations over the past couple of years. And now, by God's grace, we've reached a major milestone - on April 8t, we officially received land use approval! This is a huge step forward in making the vision a reality. Praise God!

Meanwhile, our Seton Campus is growing, with just under 300 people gathering weekly and 28 baptisms since launch. We are already seeing the fruit of expansion, and we know God is just getting started.

    Raising Up Future Christian Leaders
We are committed to equipping the next generation to lead with faith and courage. Through discipleship, training, and leadership development, we’re investing in the future:

Did you know, FA invests now in 133 students who are now being mentored and discipled as future church leaders weekly through our ministry schools TYMS and TMS?

This is what V100 is about - multiplying the Gospel, raising leaders, and leaving a lasting legacy. Buildings and land are simply tools. The true mission is to reach more people, disciple the next generation, and expand God’s Kingdom for years to come.

Thank you, FA Church, for embracing this vision with faith and generosity. Together, we are making history—one step of faith at a time. “For Christ’s love compels us”—to act, reach, and build for the future!
