We need each other

Community is core to who we are as humans made in the image of God. We were fashioned for community, both with God and each other. This theme is one of the central themes to the Bible, the way we do church, and many other core elements to our faith.

Our need for community and connection has always been true. But as humans living in the 21st century, it’s so easy to be connected yet feel alone, to feel like your people know what you’re up to but they don’t really know you, and in the midst of rapidly changing social contexts, the reality of a radical hyper-individualism, one thing that remains true is that we cannot do this alone. We were made for community —real connections with people who know the real us.

At FA church, we refuse to do life alone.

Church is meant to be more than a service, it’s meant to be a community —a family. We want to get you plugged in with the great people who call FA home, where you can grow in your faith, find community, and serve together. Here’s a few things to know about Community Groups.

  1. Most groups will meet weekly

  2. You can find many different types of groups to attend, some for anyone, some for men only, some for women only, some for young adults, and some that connect around specific interests. All of these are available to view on our groups page.

That’s it for now. The next step? Sign up for a group! We’ll invite you out to the next hangout this week.
