At First Assembly Church, we see serving as an honour and a meaningful way to live out our faith. It’s an opportunity to use your gifts to make a difference in our church and be part of something bigger – God’s Kingdom. Serving helps build community, establish friendships, and create a space where everyone feels welcomed, loved, and seen. Whether you're greeting at the door, caring for kids, leading worship, or supporting behind the scenes — every role matters.
Discover the joy of serving and help us create a church where people experience the love of Jesus in every interaction.
“He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love”.
Ephesians 4:16

At FA Youth, we are discipling the next generation to walk deeply with Jesus and live boldly on mission. Students today are hungry for more than hype — they long for truth, transformation, and belonging. As part of the team, you will help create a space where students encounter God, grow through community, and are empowered to carry His Kingdom into their world. On Friday nights (6–10pm), leaders and volunteers establish culture, lead small groups, organize games, and walk alongside students in discipleship.
If you are passionate about raising sons and daughters on fire by the presence of God, join the Youth team!

Derick’s Youth Centre exists to be a steady presence in the lives of young people who often get missed navigating trauma, poverty, family instability, or just feeling like they don’t belong anywhere. Through mentorship, meals, conversation, and creative spaces, we help youth imagine a future beyond their current situation. We want to raise up leaders not just from comfortable places, but from the margins.
If you’re passionate about walking with youth through real-life challenges, DYC is where your presence can make a lasting difference.
-
The Ministry team helps steward what God is doing at FA by praying for and ministering to people on Sundays, as they respond to God’s work in their lives and situations. Training is provided to equip you in ministering to others, including prophetic encouragement and emotional/physical healing.
