Thank you.
If this year has taught us anything it’s taught us the importance of relationships, friendships, and deep ties to healthy people. Throughout the Old & New Testament, God reveals the importance of community and spiritual family for the health and spiritual growth of His people. Community is where we find sustainability in our faith, accountability to how we live, encouragement when we go through the storm, and where we find the expression of our relational God through people.
Family and Community are essential to the lives of God’s people.
Without community, it becomes difficult to maintain a vibrant, healthy, consistent relationship with Jesus and expression of our faith in Him through our lives.
That’s why at First Assembly we believe strongly in the practice of intentional community as a core foundation for healthy relationship with Jesus, and our heart is for all people to be connected in community and relationship with each other at our church.
So again, thank you. Building community without community group leaders is like trying to build an apartment building without concrete. It’s passionate, devoted, Jesus-loving leaders like yourself that make Community Groups happen. Community isn’t easy, but it’s worth it.
