 SPIRITUAL ADOPTION

The heart of our ministry is spiritual adoption. We exist to see young adults adopted and discipled by spiritual fathers and mothers unto discipleship to Jesus.

Hey, we've got an invitation that we believe will change your life if you embrace it. As a ministry, our mission is to carry out Jesus' commandment to "Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:19-20). We're all about building a strong community, fostering deep relationships, and enjoying hobbies with fellow Christians. But here's the thing: community for community's sake creates consumers, but community as a byproduct of discipleship creates greater disciples.

Everything we do is centered around following Jesus and growing as His disciples. If you want to be a part of this ministry to meet new people and make new friends, you'll be welcomed with open arms. Just keep in mind that it won't always be comfortable. We won't compromise our spiritual maturity and commitment just to make things easier for you.

Being a disciple of Jesus is both an incredible privilege and a demanding journey. It's like the wise builder who counts the cost before constructing a house (Luke 14:28). But let me tell you, it's totally worth it. Jesus gave everything for us, and in return, we're called to give our all to Him.

You see, it's impossible to truly follow Jesus on your own. Just like a coal removed from the fire will eventually cool off, we need each other to keep the fire burning. So our invitation to you is to join us as we wholeheartedly devote ourselves to the discipleship of Jesus.

 Let’s make something abundantly clear:

We have an agenda for your life. As a ministry, we will fulfill the commandment of Jesus to, “Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20). Yes, we in believe and love community, deep relationships, and doing hobbies with other Christians, but community for community’s sake creators consumers - but community as a byproduct of discipleship creates greater disciples.

Everything we do is unto discipleship to Jesus. If you want to be a part of this ministry to meet new people and make new friends you will be welcomed with open arms, but just know that you will grow more and more uncomfortable. We will not devolve to the lowest level of spiritual maturity and commitment for the sake of your comfort.

Being a disciple of Jesus is a high and costly call. Foolish is the one who does not count the cost before building their house (Luke 14:28); but worthy is the one who gave all of Himself to receive all that we are. It is impossible to be a faithful follower of Jesus alone. A coal removed from the fire will glow for a short period of time but will eventually cool off, but many coals together keep each other burning. Join us as we devote our lives to faithfully giving our lives to the discipleship of Jesus.

Life is better together.

“The person who loves their dream of community will destroy community, but the person who loves those around them will create community.”

-Dietrich Bonhoeffer

In today's society, marked by a fervent emphasis on individualism and self-sufficiency, young adults find themselves navigating their spiritual journeys in isolation. The prevailing cultural narrative promotes independence, self-reliance, and the pursuit of one's unique path, inadvertently fostering a generation of spiritual orphans. Don’t believe the lie of our western context - life is better together.

How can you get connected?

YA SOCIALS - ONCE A MONTH

Socials are our once a month young adult hangouts. Our goal for our socials is to create an environment for young adults to meet one another, create new relationships, and for people that are brand new to our church to get connected.
